I only converted one file so far, but even FCPro doesn’t recognize .ogv format. This program successfully converted my video. Please do a pro version — I will buy it!

Simply put ”Fantastic"

As soon as you open the application it directs you to pay for the upgrade program. When I chose to continue every movie I tried to convert gave me an error. This is regarding Blu-ray.

I’d forgotten I downloaded this until a few months I downloaded a WMV and “poof!” Done. FreeConverter opened up. Today I had convert a WMV video and zip! Done. Don’t be put off because the UI isn’t a masterpiece of UX. It has good controls and it works. I’m buying add-ons to support the developer.

Quick, easy, great quality and most importantly- NO TAGS!! Took me a while to find a free converter that didn’t spam my video or annoy me with purchase requests. And because of that, I might actually buy the pro version :)

For a beginner it’s a little intimidating, needs a little clearer instructions on 1st timers, so far it’s getting better, will rate again in near soon.

Good thing is that is free and gets the job done. You have to play with it a little bit to understand how it works but otherwise is awesome app.

I wanted a lossy compression conversion but it trippled the size of the AVI in a conversion to MOV. Audio and visual were fine. I have done conversion to MP4 on WIndows and wanted that format but this conversion failed with an error. It is only for advanced user

I am happy with the product

My different cameras store video in various formats with no thumbnail preview. The clarity of the video after conversion was amazing. I have a lot of .mts and .mov files for conversion to .mp4.

This review is actually for the updated pro version I had purchased for $6.99 and subsequently removed from my computer in disgust. But I could not access that review site to view my original review! Moreover, their site interface is as inadequate as their software! Their converter software CANNOT convert files with the extension .xspf. Attempting to do so gives the message ‘Unplayable Asset’. One would think they’d post a disclaimer for this FACT. In conclusion, not even THIS CURRENT SITE works properly: neither of the horizontal ‘back’ arrows work. ALL their stuff is SHODDY!
